When I was thinking about the polishes in the Prism Polish UK In Without A Bang Collection I knew right away what the inspiration was. It made me think back to all of 2020, but it also made me think of T S Eliot’s The Hollow Men:

Eliot is probably one of my favorite poets of all time yet I strongly dislike him at the same time. How does that even make sense? Anyway, let me show you my swatches of this collection below.

The first two polishes (Pour Decisions and Janu-wary) have the most delicate and beautiful shimmer and I feel like I totally failed at capturing it. I swear I have been struggling with my camera so much lately, and I don’t know what the deal is. Yes, I bought a DSLR a couple of years ago but I never learned to use it and still use my $100 Nikon point and shoot–maybe it’s time I really figure out this camera business. My favorite polish from this collection is Auld Langxiety because–well the name is awesome, but that contrasting shimmer is everything. I also really enjoyed the matte shade and Champain. Ok, I guess I kinda like them all. Shocker, right?!
