Précision Color FX Collection

Last week I stumbled upon a full display of Précision polishes that were on sale. They had me at sale. I ended up picking up the Color FX collection from 2010 and I finally got around to swatching them today. I really liked these colors, but I do think that the formula is a little sheer. I used 3 coats for all of these swatches. I would say that 4 out of the 6 colors could have gotten away with 2 thickish coats but Honey Dew This and Wait A Melon For Me needed those three coats badly. I didn’t have any problems with the brush; it was flexible and easy to manipulate. I had practically no clean up! I’ve provided two pictures of each polish: one in direct sunlight and one in the shade.

So what do you think of these colors? I actually think they are really pretty. I probably would have found them a little more original a few years ago when they came out because I wasn’t such a hardcore polish fiend back then. Nowadays, it seems like we get the same colors over and over again every season. Maybe that’s why when something somewhat different comes out, we all go bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S! I am definitely going to keep up with Précision collections going forward because I think their nail polishes are of good quality and are very affordable. They may not be easily found in your area in retail locations, but you can purchase them online at their website but you may also be able to find them for less at other polish etailers.

Thanks for visiting today and I’m sorry for being such an enabler; enabling means caring in my book.

  1. Enabling = caring…hahahaha.
I've never heard of this brand. I like Honey Dew This and The Next "It" Girl. I agree, in 2010 these colors would've da bomb dot com, but now they're commonplace.

    1. You know that's true! We are even worse enablers on PWRC…it's insane. These colors are pretty…I don't think I have one similar to the green. I'm actually surprised I liked it so much.

  2. If that's true I must care the most out of anybody!! Hahaha. You know who loves you! :p These are really pretty tho- if they were on super sale I'd pick em up! 🙂

    1. Oh yeah…that's why I couldn't resist. They were $2 each and they also had this other collection that is all glitter topcoats called The Sprinkles Collection. I'm going to have to look up some swatches and probably go back and get them. lol

      1. Ooh they sound pretty! Speaking of sprinkles, I gotta get me some of those Nails Inc matte glitters. I wonder if Sephora still has them. $2 nail polish…. I say go for it!! :p

        1. Oh yes…they still have then cause they're pretty new. When I got mine a couple of weeks ago, the girl told me that they had just gotten them in. I think they were anticipating people buying them a lot because they had TONS of them…at least they did at my Sephora.

          1. I might have to go there. I like the pink and blue, but I saw a swatch of a grey one that was totally awesome. I actually didn't know there were any others besides the pink and blue!

            1. Yeah, there are 4. I only got the pink and blue but maybe I'll get the other 2. They just didn't call to me as much. They're still pretty, though.

  5. "They had me at sale." Of course they did, lol. Although, for $2, I say it was well worth it. They're very pretty! I feel like I shouldn't be attracted to them because they're "common," but I really like them, especially the blue, pink, yellow, and purple.

    1. C'mon…you know you can't resist a sale either when beauty products are concerned. I think they are a great deal and I do like the colors. I'd like them even more if they were more pigmented but I guess I can't complain for the price. I looooove the blue.

  6. These are very pretty! I have a color just like that pink on my toesies right now its a love and beauty pink. I call it my “Barbie Pink” <3 Pretty shades

  7. I recognized your lips icon, but I guess it just didn't add up! =P I was looking for a blog titled "Lacquer Loon" haha.

I have never heard of this brand. These are all so bright and pretty, though! I really love all of them, I can't pick a favorite! ^.^

    1. It doesn't seem like it's a super huge well-known brand. I love discovering these types of polishes. The colors are really pretty which makes me wonder if they put out a lot of collections. I'm going to have to read up on them.
