Pahlish Material Emancipation Grill

I finally got a chance to wear some of the polishes that I purchased from October PPU, and I am in absolute love. I don’t know about you, but sometimes it takes me months to wear the things that I buy for a variety of reasons. Sometimes I have a lot of swatching commitments and sometimes I just decided to take a nail break. Let me show you my swatches of Pahlish Material Emancipation Grill and then we’ll talk about the deets.

Isn’t this a gorgeous polish? It’s so unique and beautiful and the formula was absolutely perfect. It only took two coats to reach full opacity.  Any month that I purchase from PPU, I am guaranteed to pick up the Pahlish contribution because the polishes are just THAT GOOD.

Can I complain about something right now? I’ve been using wordpress for the last 7 years and the last update really threw me for a loop. The site functions like a piece of shit where I can’t figure out where anything is. It’s taking me forever to do simple things like write up a post because of all these stupid “blocks.” It’s not user friendly at all and it’s just making me not want to post at all because it’s such a headache.  I freaking hate this Gutenberg block editor!!! As I was writing this, I decided to google some solutions and of course there is a “Classic Editor” plugin that gives me back the old editor so I am left wondering why I didn’t do this wayyyy in the beginning. *facepalm* Well, I hope this helps someone that may be reading this.

Other than getting ready for Christmas, nothing much has been going on in my corner of the universe. Are you done with your Christmas shopping? I certainly am not but I am about halfway done. Pray for me. Well, I hope that you’re doing well and that you’re having a good week so far. Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I will talk to you soon.

  1. Pretty polish.

Months? lol more like years to use some polishes haha.

And the new editor is annoying me too. I’ll get used to the changes eventually but it’s frustrating now. The slow speed of everything is annoying me most though.

  2. This is certainly very beautiful indeed! I hate it when my phone updates!! And as for Christmas, I’ve not really done anything apart from food shopping!

  3. I love the green flash on the polish!

I’m not gonna lie, I could never figure out WordPress and just opted to pay for Squarespace. I like that I can contact someone if something goes wrong. I totally understand that not everyone has the resources to pony up for it…I’m just really lazy.

  4. Hi Cynthia — I also take a little while to get around to using new polishes, because I keep buying them!! I feel like I *ought* to use the older untrieds first, but since I love to wear seasonal colors, that means it is often months or even close to a year before I rotate back around to them. I know they’re there, waiting patiently in my untrieds drawer with all their little friends… Also I wanted to mention that I have been enjoying the Pahlish PPU contributions lately, too. I just love PPU and without it, would probably never try some of these Indie brands. This one looks lovely on you!!
