I’m kind of hating life right now for a variety of reasons, so I decided to wear a hot, Hot, HOT! nail polish to distract myself from the terrible ennui. After all the massive selling of polishes, I find myself going through my melmers on the regular trying to figure out what else I can get rid of. I also re-discover polishes I forgot I even had…and Illamasqua Vice is one I had totally forgotten. I actually don’t even recall purchasing it so I’m sure it was acquired during one of my many polish shopping binges. Let me show you how pretty this polish is.
Illamasqua Vice has that rubber finish that was all the rage a couple of years ago. It’s not quite matte and it’s not quite glossy so it looks a little off initially. The colors is this deep and vibrant cherry that feels a little thin and sheer but it builds up very nicely.
Since I can’t live without a gorgeous glossy finish, I applied a coat of my trusty Seche Vite to give it this beautiful shine (imagine me saying that in the Cutepolish voice).
So that’s my story for today. I hope that you’re having a better day than me, but hey…at least I don’t work tomorrow which means I don’t have to be up at the buttcrack of dawn. That makes me happy. Thanks for stopping by, and I will talk to you soon!

So you have Melmers too? Im really hating mine right now…. they make this horrid screaching nails-on-chalkboard sound whenever I pull out a drawer -__▪
AGH! Think im going to break down and go to IKEA this weekend for an Alex…

OH MY GOD YES!!! I have 5 melmers but only two drawers on two of them do this. I thought that it was maybe because they were heavy with polish, but I emptied the offending drawers and they still make the noise!!! I hate opening up those drawers. I have been thinking of buying a helmer because I don’t think I will like the Alex. It feels like such a waste with all the melmers I have purchased, but at least I got them on sale.
I saw a tip to put little felt stickers on the bottom drawer, back corners only, and no noise, it glides quietly.
And this worked for me 🙂

I used to have this shade, I love it, it’s a beautiful shade. My kids gave me their cold so I’m hacking and sniffling all over the place. 🙁 no bueno.
