Hello, hello! Can you believe it’s already the first week of April? Every time April rolls around, I get the urge to revisit The Wasteland: “April is the cruelest month, breeding lilacs out of the dead land, mixing memory and desire, stirring dull roots with spring rain.” I have always loved Modernist poetry and literature with a fiery passion and wish I had more time to just read. This April, I have a few monthly polishes to share with you, one of them being Colors by Llarowe Spring Forward which is the Polish of the Month for April 2018. Let’s take a look at the polish below.
Colors By Llarowe Spring Forward
Believe it or not, this is the first time I use Colors by Llarowe and I am impressed! The formula is immaculate only needing one coat for full opacity. I did go a little thick with my coat so you can go with 2 thin coats if you prefer. I like the brush because it’s not too thin and not too wide for my nails. The formula was also very easy to control and allowed me to create an even and smooth cuticle line with no clean up necessary.
I decided to do a little stamping now that I am ridiculously excited about my new stamping polish and stamper. I don’t really like this pattern on this particular polish, but I just wanted to try out a more solid pattern with my stamper. I still used my Pueen clear stamper and it continues to perform well with Pure Ice Silver Mercedes. I haven’t tried my Lantern & Wren stamper yet, but I will be doing a review shortly.
If you’re interested in purchasing this polish, you can head on over to Color 4 Nails where it retails for $11. Since this is a POTM, it will be available for a limited time only so get it before 4/16 or else you will miss out. Let me know what you think about this polish in the comments below. Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I will talk to you soon.
