I know that February was a short month, but why does it feel like the first two months of the year just flew by? I can’t believe that it’s March already! I sound so much like my parents right now; is this what it feels like to get old? Pretty soon I’ll start to use phrases like “back in the day” and “kids today” on a regular basis. Since I had a bunch of polishes to swatch this weekend, I took the opportunity to give away some polishes. I was watching Hoarders on Hulu as I decluttered a bit to help me get more motivated. lol My family calls me the anti-hoarder because I get so worked up getting rid of stuff that I throw out or give away tons of stuff that I should keep. I just get so paranoid about having clutter, that I want to get rid of everything. This is especially hard when it comes to my nail polish. This weekend I swatched about 20 polishes, and today I want to share with you the Bee’s Knees Lacquer COTM Duo for March 2018. What is COTM, you ask? Why…Color of the Month, of course! Let me show you some swatches below.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer You So Slick
Man, oh man…Blorange is my jam! This is the type of polish that has become the quintessential Bee’s Knees polish in my head: shifty, sparkly and complex. I loved the formula because it was easy to control and only required 2 coats for full opacity. The next polish, You So Slick, is pretty unique in my collection. I don’t normally buy or use black polishes because I have always felt that black polishes make my skin look weird. However, I really liked how squishy and jelly-like this polish is and how beautiful the glitter shards look in it. The application was nice: self-leveling and opaque at two coats. I might already use the phrase kids these days. LOL. I am a cranky old lady. I love Blorange, and I like the look of You So Slick but I’m always disappointed in black jelly polishes like that in real life.
