Sation I Paint In Peace

Remember how I was complaining about how cold it has been lately? Well, today it’s going to be in the upper 70′s/low 80′s and here I am wanting to complain again. haha!  Is it so hard to just have nice mild and temperate weather that is season appropriate? I guess so! This weekend is supposed to be super nice so maybe I’ll take advantage of my last two days of unemployed freedom and go to the beach or something outdoorsy like that. How’s the weather in your neck of the woods? Since it’s getting warm, I decided to wear a polish that was a little brighter than what I wore previously which was essentially a black/purple polish. I settled on yet another lovely from the Sation Nailstock Colletion: Sation I Paint In Peace.

Sation I Paint In Peace SwatchSation I Paint In Peace is a beautiful dark and mossy green with a strong and noticeable silver shimmer. The first coat of this polish was super sheer so I was cringing inside thinking that I would have to apply 5 gazillion coats but it was perfect after the second coat. I should know better than to second guess my beloved Sations.

I then used Layla Flash Black and a design from Mash plate MASH 47 for this subtle houndstooth design. Even though it looks super subtle in these pictures, you can really see the design in real life. I am so in love with using holos to stamp.

I hope you’re having a nice weekend. Thanks for stopping by today, and I will talk to you soon!

I loooove that green! I have never tried Sation polish though, I have never seen it when I am out shopping. But yeah, I love that color. So pretty.

Snatch them up if you ever see any! :) They were super hard to find before they started being sold at TJ Maxx and Marshalls. They have some really gorgeous colors and this one is one of my recent favorites. Who doesn’t like a nice green?!

Jealous! It’s 0 degrees here in London! That’s 32 degrees Fahrenheit by your measurements I think! Bad snow yesterday, more tonight. It’s freezing! I envy your beach weekend!

Great blog by the way, I’m not a reader of blogs in general but I read yours every day. Your nail handiwork never fails to amaze me!

    Have a good weekend!

What??? You have cold weather then BOOM it’s 80??? No fair!! It was like 28 last night and all frosty and freezing. By the time I got home I was so cold I just had to go to bed. I like these green. It looks very foresty and pretty. Oooohh two more days of freedom!! I can’t wait to hear about your first days of work. It’s always so crazy and exciting but nerve wracking. :) Oh and I nearly hate you for your holo stamping ability. I stamp w it and it just doesn’t look right. Maybe I’m doing it over the wrong colors, but it’s really disappointing. These (yours) look awesome!

I guess that’s just the way California rolls. I don’t even know why I’m surprised anymore. I just hope to Fish Jesus that I don’t get sick because of these dumbass changes in weather. I simply cannot get sick right now especially since I’m just starting my job. Oh lord Jesus it’s a faaher. I just wanted to say that. And yes, this green makes me think of moss or something–so pretty. Me likey a lot.

I can’t believe how amazing the silver shimmer is in this shade, it gives it depth and something extra. I’m such a sucker for greens, I wish I could see this in person.

Btw, why can’t we ever be satisfied with the weather? Last week it was frigid here and I was whining out in the field then by Monday it was near 70 and I’m grumbly about getting sweaty at work! lol Now its raining in Vegas all weekend… Sheesh!

Pretty! I love the shimmer in the Sation.
I have to point out that it is OK that you second-guess your Sations…I know that you have at least two of them that are sheer!
While I was looking at the holo stamping I was thinking, “What is that, a subtle houndstooth?” and that is exactly what it is, haha.
