Hey, look! I have all 6 polishes here because Peanut did NOT break any of them. Yay! I’m still a little sad about the loss of Rocha (and about my table being ruined!), but I’ll just classify this as Peanut’s first polish destruction. I’m sure that there will be many more to follow. Today I have the Zoya Bubbly Collection to share with you, and I can tell you that I am a bit surprised. Surprised good or surprised bad? Keep reading and you’ll find out…

Zoya Harper 1Zoya Harper 2Zoya Harper

Zoya Binx 1Zoya Binx 2Zoya Binx

Zoya Muse 1Zoya Muse 2Zoya Muse

Zoya Staasi 1Zoya Staasi 2Zoya Staasi

Zoya Jesy 1Zoya Jesy 2Zoya Jesy

Zoya Alma 1Zoya Alma 2Zoya Alma

When I first saw the promo pictures for this collection, I had no idea what to expect. In fact, the idea of jelly polishes with holo glitter seemed kind of strange considering the images that were released.I wouldn’t really consider these polishes holographic in the sense that we were all expecting and hoping that they would be. These are very thick glitter polishes in a tinted jelly base which means that they are very sheer. I applied 3 thickish coats for all my swatches because I wanted them to be fully opaque without having to layer them over a solid color. The final result is a lovely glitter packed finish that almost makes them look metallic. I certainly was not expecting to like these, but I kind of do. I’m not like dying with excitement, but I do think these are pretty and anticipate that they will be fairly well-received. So what do you think of these? I’ve been hearing mixed feelings about these and I can tell you that if had to pick one or two, I would go with Muse and Harper because I just love how they look. If you want to get your hands on these, they can be found at Zoya.com for $9 each. They should start shipping out May 15 which is right around the corner. Don’t forget to check out my swatches of the Zoya Tickled Collection! Will you be getting any of these?

  1. I already commented to you on IG that I’ve been waiting for ages for someone to swatch these and…..womp womp womp! 🙁 Your swatches are gorgeous as always but man, I do hate that iridescent glitter. It has ruined a lot of pretty polishes. Those glitters always look like dents on the polish and these are not an exception (yes, Zoya Monet is my personal Horror Polish). I was really hoping these would be similar to Blaze, Storm and Dream, that would’ve been da bomb! Those cremes you showed yesterday were really pretty though 🙂

    1. I totally see where you’re coming from. One of my pet peeves ever since everyone decided that holo polishes are the best, is that everyone wants to call things holo even when they aren’t. Yes, these have *some* holo glitters, but I agree that they are more iridescent than holo. The finish isn’t what a lot of people were expecting. I was actually expecting to hate them, but I was surprised by them at the end. I think I would rather wear them layered over a creme than on their own. They are pretty, but not “I’ll kill you for them” pretty. 🙂

  2. Any idea when Ulta will get them. I want a few, but it’s already 97deg here, don’t want them sitting in front of my door all day. Can you feel the glitter when you touch you nails? I have other Zoya polishes that are very course, not pixi dust. Have to use 2 coats of Seche to smooth & shine. Other brands are able to immerse the glitter into the base. Your nails look so beautiful in all of the colors!

    1. I’m not sure, but they are supposed to start shipping from Zoya on the 15th. I imagine that Ulta should be getting them probably by the end of the month. These felt pretty smooth which was surprising considering the amount of glitter that is in them. I only applied a normal coat of Seche Vite and they were perfectly smooth.

  3. Ermahgerd. You slay me with these swatches! Every time I see you swatch something I instantly want to buy it! I’m going to wind up broke! 😛 On a serious note, I was expecting them to be more holographic since that is how they were described. They’re still really pretty though!

  4. The blue one is my favorite.. I loved it..

And I really liked the polishes, even thought I’m not into glitter.. I saw the bottle in peanut’s picture.. And i was thinking that i wasnt going to like these swatches.. Well i guess i was wrong
