Wet N Wild Hannah Pinktana

I don’t know why, but I’m feeling super girlie and dainty today. There is NOTHING dainty and super girlie about me, but all of a sudden I wanted to wear pink on my nails. I have a crapton of pink polishes, so I had to take out a bunch of them and pick the one that appealed to me the most. Since I’ve been on a kick to use all of my untrieds lately, I picked Wet N Wild Hannah Pinktana. Before I get into the polish, I have to admit that I was technically a Hannah Montana fan. I sometimes watched the show and kind of enjoyed it. Don’t judge me! When someone asked me what the most embarrassing song on my ipod is, I immediately responded: Party In The USA by Miley Cyrus. Hey–it’s a gym song, ok!?

Wet N Wild Hannah Pinktana is a super sheer and delicate mauve-pink polish with fine scattered holographic glitter. I adore how delicate this polish is, but I do have to mention that it is beyond sheer. I applied 5–yes 5–coats here but they were all thin so they dried pretty quickly. Since I am a huge fan of holo polishes, both linear and scattered, I am wondering what took me so long to use this polish. If you’re not into applying more than 2 coats of polish, I can see this working as a layering polish as well. And the best part of this polish is that it’s only $1.99!!!!

What is more girlie than bows and rhinestones…seriously? Maybe I’m just feeling super sappy and emotional (and not in a good way) these last few days so I am pouring all those feelings into my nail polish and stamping choices.  The bow design is from Bundle Monster plate BM 317 but I think this would be pretty easy to free-hand if you don’t have this stamping plate. To make it all extra cute, I added some rhinestones to finish off this mani.

What do you think of this mani? Is it something that you would wear? Have you tried out any polishes from Wet N Wild’s FastDry line? There are a few others that I picked up that are TV show themed so I’ll be trying those out sometime soon. Thanks so much for checking in with me today, and I will talk to you soon!

Pretty nails! I have this color and love it over a gray base coat. I am thinking I need to go get a back up of this color! It’s just THAT pretty.

Love this color! I have this but haven’t ever used it either! I picked it up randomly and haven’t ever looked twice at it, but seeing it here makes me wanna use it! I’ve got an orange glitter FastDry polish from an old collection, and Ebony hates Chris from this collection. I use that one for stamping when I don’t wanna use my Konad.

    • Comment by Cynthia:

Is Ebony Hates Chris good for stamping??? I am always looking for cheap stamping polishes but I’ve never found a good black one to compete with the black konad polish. I’ve had this one for a long time too and that other baby blue holo that has the same finish. I’m going to try that one out soon!

Absolutely love them. Very pretty & girlie girlish! I’d wear it because I’m a very girly girl most of the time, and I’m currently rocking a rich blue WNW dry fast polish. Great minds polish alike!

Oooohhh, so pretty! And I love the rhinestones on the bows. I will have to remember that for my next stamped bows.

    • Comment by Cynthia:

Thanks! I always seem to want to bedazzle everything. I can be so tacky sometimes but I think it works well with this polish and the sparkly holo. :)

      • Comment by Tina:

Those stamped bows always look so flat and one dimensional. The rhinestones elevate them away from that and we all need some bedazzling once in awhile (some of us more than others). Speaking of bedazzling, I love the new look of your website. I kept going, wait, did I go to the right site….no…yes….wait there’s the little polishing hand so it must be right! Everything is so streamlined and uncluttered. My A type personality sighs with pleasure (tee hee).

I love this holo, but mostly as a topper. Over rich cherries or burgundies, this little guy shines. Otherwise, I find it too sheer for my taste. I need to get the blue one next!

You know that’s really cute!! BB won’t do the whole mani set, but I’ll definitely look for that polish for layering. Looks good and isn’t expensive- my kinda deal! BB2U

OMG I NEED THIS POLISH!!! How cute is this??? The whole mani is super adorable. I think pink is such a fun color, but I hardly wear it… unless its neon. Im going to need to practice my stamping, boyfriend bought me a bunch of stamps but I am just no good at them… le sigh

Jeebus, are you feeling OK? I would not expect to see this mani on you, haha. It is super-adorable, though. IN FACT, you are making me re-think not owning this color. I patently refused to buy it because of the name. Seriously. But it looks so dang pretty on you that I just *may* have to cave. I could use a pick-me-up after being so blah sicky.
I used to like Party in the USA, too, or at least get it stuck in my head easily, but refused to download it. I wouldn’t even allow it to be an embarassing addition to my iTunes playlist. I guess I am anti-Miley?
I think the WnW FastDry line is pretty great. I have Buffy the Violet Slayer (as highly recommended by Scrangie) and it does not disappoint. I’ve considered getting Sagreena the Teenage Witch, too, but never have.
