Hey there! Did you think I was going to disappear again? Well, I have been extremely lazy as of late so I’m really trying to get my butt in gear. Today I’m posting with my fellow bloggers from The Beauty Buffs and our posts are all about pink today. Have I told you how much I love pink polish? I never thought of myself as a pink lover, but I just think that the color puts me in a brighter mood…especially hot pinks. The other day I was at Rite-Aid and I saw that they were selling the Revlon Parfumerie polishes for $1.49! I never picked any of them up when everyone was going gaga over them, so I couldn’t resist picking one of them to try out which is how I ended up with African Tea Rose.
First of all, the color is pretty gorgeous. The formula was ok–it seemed kind of patchy so I applied 3 coats. I really loved the tea rose scent that this polish gave off once it started to dry, but it pretty much went away once I top coated it. Womp womp.
I then applied 1 coat of Candy Lacquer Unicorn Bubbles just because I wanted to unicorn up my mani. What? It’s a verb, ok? I don’t use this fun glitter topper enough so I’ll be sure to put it in my regular rotation–as if that really exists. Once you have “a few thousand” polishes, there is no regular rotation. I feel like such a hoarder.

I feel bad too. I think I have maybe 10 that I use multiple times just because I love them so much, but the rest….I haven’t opened in years sometimes. I’m such a hoarder.

I used one from this line and I swear my fingers still smelled awesome days later. Maybe some of the scents are stronger than others?

Maybe some are stronger. I actually really loved the rose scent. It made me think of that old Tea Rose perfume that my mom would wear when I was a kid. AND YES!!!! UNICORN ALL THE THINGS.

I’m wearing that polish right now!! I love it! I’m not a fan of pink, but this one is really pretty and it suits my skin tone really well.

Personally, I have had great luck with OPI Mod About You. I know some people say their bottle sucks but mine was perfect in 2 coats. It’s a really great pale pink.

Ah, pink…your trademark looks-good-on-you color! 😉 This one is no exception.
I have a couple of these. One smelled stronger than the other, but I think it lasted for a day or two.
“Unicorned” is totally a verb. I wouldn’t have thought to put that glitter over this color, but it is working for me in a big way.
I’m not sure if I should laugh at the thought of a regular rotation or feel ridiculous…I guess I’ll do both, lol.
