Hello there! I was planning on posting these swatches sooner but guess what? The COVID booster shot sidelined me for a bit. I am actually super surprised about this because I had no significant side effects when I got the vaccine (besides a sore arm–unless I totally blocked it all out), but this time around I felt pretty rotten for almost 3 days. I definitely think it was worth it so I’m not going to complain about a few days of discomfort. Now that I’m feeling better, I am back on schedule! Hello and happy Friday! As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, I’m hyped for the weekend so I hope that today flies by. I remember that for a long time when I first started working, I usually worked weekends and holidays which meant that I never really got to look forward to a traditional “weekend.” Sometimes I liked it, but sometimes I hated it. When I worked in the airline business as a ticket agent, I spent most holidays working especially new year’s eve. It was such a bummer! Hello there! It’s been kinda warm here lately and it has just made me feel super sluggish. I want to start going to the gym so badly, but I’m scared about the increase of COVID cases. Even though I’m fully vaccinated, it makes me a little nervous. I have even made the decision to stop going out to indoor dining and will only go if there are outdoor options. Even then, I’m wary. I don’t know if I’m overreacting but I just don’t want to get sick and possibly pass it on to my parents when I see them. Anyway, sorry for the ‘rona talk, it’s just been on my mind a lot lately. Happy Monday dear readers! I had a pretty nice weekend because I spend Saturday with my parents. I took them out to breakfast, came back to my place where we watched a bunch of movies and then cooked a yummy dinner. Ok, maybe my mom did all the cooking and I just watched and chatted with her–ha! When I was thinking about the polishes in the Prism Polish UK In Without A Bang Collection I knew right away what the inspiration was. It made me think back to all of 2020, but it also made me think of T S Eliot’s The Hollow Men:

Not with a bang but a whimper.

Hi there! Yeah, I know I’ve been MIA for a while but to be honest, getting the COVID vaccine kinda kicked my butt a little bit.
