I feel like I have been in a total funk lately so when I remembered the Sunday Stamping theme, I had absolutely no idea what to do. I took out a bunch of pink and purple polishes and it came down to Sation Shock Me Twice Pink and Sation Power To The Purple. I thought about combining the two, but changed my mind. So I went with two coats of Shock Me Twice pink over a base of China Glaze White Out.
    
I really like Shock Me Twice Pink because it’s neon but still delicate. It has a really pretty shimmer that shows up unexpectedly at certain angles.
    
I then used stamp Mash 48 and Wet N Wild’s I Can’t Stand Up Straight for the design.
    
Since I still wanted some kind of purple accent, I used these purple rhinestones on my design. I always think rhinestones will look better than they end up looking once I glue them on my nails. I should just give up on rhinestones already!

Do you remember those infomercials for the Beddazler? I think that anything with rhinestones reminds me of those commercials and how tacky the clothes looked. haha I am actually using rhinestones again right now so I hope this turns out better.

I liked the idea in my head too but I don't think it came out the way I had imagined. I think maybe it would look better if I used a darker color for the stamping.

These remind me of fish eggs. I know fish don't live in pink pools and their eggs probably are not purple and pretty but idk… It's just what came to mind. I always have a hard time w designs like this because I ever know where to add the dots or rhinestones or sequins or whatever and it just looks assymetrical to me. I think yours look nice tho! Why have you been so uninspired?

I don't know why I haven't been feeling the nail inspiration lately. I'm trying to think of a posting schedule like maybe post mwf sunday instead of every day because it will give me a chance to actually follow up with all the other blog I like to read. I've even been having problems following up on my own darn comments lol Maybe posting every day has kind of burned me out on ideas.
