Stamping Saturdays #9

Hi there and happy Saturday to you! I have some exciting news to share, but I think I should wait until everything is 100% secure because you know the whole “don’t count your chickens before they’ve hatched” thing might blow up in my face. Still, it’s just a matter of some details being confirmed so I hope it all goes well–wish me luck! Last night I told myself that I should finish my mani for Stamping Saturdays early so I wouldn’t have to worry about posting it today, but of course I passed out early and didn’t get it all set up in advance. Silly me for thinking I could escape my procrastinator tendencies! What I decided to do is use a polish that I’ve loved since the day it came out: Ninja Polish Mystic Glacier.

Ninja Polish Mystic Glacier 1Ninja Polish Mystic Glacier 2Isn’t this just an amazing polish? It has an amazing depth and it just glows in a deliciously icy way. I find the formula a little thin, but it does build up nicely and is completely opaque with 3 coats.

MoYou London Sailor Collection Plate 07For today’s design, I decided to use one of my new MoYou London plates (press sample) from the Sailor Collection.

MoYou London Sailor Collection - 07 1MoYou London Sailor Collection - 07 2I stamped this swirly wave design with my Konad white polish and I was pretty satisfied with the results. While the design is pretty large and covers most of the nail bed, I like how beautiful Mystic Glacier looks where it’s peeking out. I had no issues with the MoYou plate and the design transferred very well. I did use my Konad stamper, but I will continue to experiment with the more squishy stampers in the future.

So what do you think of this design? What about the awesome plate? I hope you’re having a good weekend…I’m gonna sorta celebrate tonight so I’m looking forward to that! Thanks for stopping by, and I will talk to you soon.

  1. I love both…Mystic Glaciar & the stamp over it. So pretty. Good luck or congrats early 😉
    Have a great weekend!

  2. HOW does your stamping get more and more gorgeous?
I wish I could describe the immense jealousy I feel right now. Like I don’t even have words.
I love you but I hate you because your stamping is so damn gorgeous and this is just perfection. You do not get better. Ever! I just… Ja… *pulls hair out*

  3. I saw that beautiful blue shimmery polish and it brought to mind one of my favorite polishes by Orly called High on Hope. I had to dig my bottle out and see how close it is to this beauty. Actually High On Hope is more Navy blue and it isn’t a dupe, it has more sparkle and shimmer while this one has that iridescence found like on a beetle’s wings or a raven’s feathers. I am in awe of your stamping!

  4. WOW. Now I NEED to do some stamping over duochromes… the way it accents the shift is incredible! Just having those little bits peeking out manages to make the shift a lot more obvious. Not sure why it works that way but I’m not complaining!

  5. I never thought to use Mystic Glacier for stamping but now I will!!! This looks awesome. I love the white over it, and I love the design. This is going to have to be on my nails sometime soon.

  6. Did you just use a bird analogy at the beginning of this post?!?!
Ooohhh, that plate is so cute!!!
Celebrating, eh? I was surprised at the lack of “right bike” emails. 😉

  7. Oh your nails are the perfect square shape! I wish mine hard turned out this nicely aha. That Ninja Polish is so lovely and the stamping compliments it great! Love this design.
