I finally got around to trying my first Sinful Colors polish. I bought 4 of them a few weeks ago when they were on sale for $1 at Walgreens. I have to say that I absolutely love this color. It’s just what I was in the mood for. The formula left a lot to be desired: it was goopy and runny at the same time and I found it very difficult to apply it evenly. For the second coat, I added a few drops of Seche Restore to the polish and it was perfectly smooth and manageable.
How beautiful is that shimmer?
Today I saw Dr. H for the last time, apparently. He told me that he was going to be working at a new place starting in July. Ugh. I really liked him. He was the one who treated me during my last hospitalization, and I feel really comfortable with him. He’s not my therapist, just my psychiatrist so we mainly focus on my meds and how I’m feeling. We talked about him doing the freaking dog letter again but I guess all those things have to go through the director so Dr. H is supposed to call me back once he talks to her. It really sounded like they’re going to do it now. I won’t hold my breath.
I also didn’t go to the gym today. I was totally not feeling like it today so I’ll be sure to work extra hard tomorrow. Working out daily has made me feel so much better. I feel like I’ve accomplished something! I need to go buy my mom a gift for mother’s day. She is a perfume lover like me so I was thinking of buying her a nice set. I might hit up Sephora tomorrow to check stuff out.
OH NO THEY DIDN’T!!! I was just finishing up this post as I watched Grey’s Anatomy and all of a sudden there is a plane crash. Ok, I nearly shit myself. I can’t wait till next week.
I love this color, SC can really put out some great colors. Too bad you got a finicky bottle, I find they're pretty sensitive to room temp especially if it is warm.
I'm sorry to hear your Dr. Is moving, I know how frustrating something like that can be once you get comfortable with someone. I'll keep my fingers crossed for your dog letter!
I had never even paid attention to Sinful Colors. Guess I was a bit of a nail polish snob. The horror! Now that I have tried a few, I think I am a fan of the colors but not the formula. Thank God for thinner! 🙂
I was bummed about my doc too. He is so nice and super easy to talk to…plus he's easy on the eyes. hahaha I just hope I don't end up with some freakazoid.
I'm a polish snob too, but every once in a while I cave for a drugstore brand. Mostly Revlons and Sinfuls. Milani comes out with some cool colors but I hate the bottle too much, same for NOPI.

This color is really pretty Their brushes and formulas are not the greatest I keep the white and the black for nail art, but for the price you cannot beat it. This color looks really Similar to one of the Kardashian OPI Nicole colors, I have at home, I can't think of the name right now.. hold please I will look it up… Back to Reality is the name 🙂 Very pretty!
I haven't tried any of the Kardashian OPI's. I guess I am subconsciously boycotting the Kardashian Klan. hahaha. I really wanted that teal Khloe had a lam or something like that but I passed.
I was surprised that I didn't have the brushes on these Sinful Colors polishes. I was more annoyed with the formula but for the price, I don't mind adding a few drops of thinner. 🙂
Yea believe me i wasnt pleased that i liked this color enough to buy it, i tried to boycott it lol

I bought All Mighty – its a really deep blue with what looks to be a silver shimmer in the bottle. I haven't tried it yet but I can't wait to swatch it!

I'm waiting to get a dog too, but its just me simply not having the $ for it since I'm now looking for a job and when I had a job my apartment didn't allow pets 🙁 . Thanks! I am looking to get a wheaten terrier. I am actually just really into terriers. I'd love to get a wheaten, an airedale or a kerry blue. My heart is pretty set on a wheaten but they're just so darn expensive. I have resigned myself to having to pay over $1k for a dog from a reputable breeder so now I just have to save up the money. I am thinking that once I get my letter and landlord situation straightened out, I might foster dogs for a while until I can get one of my own.
What kind of dog do you want to get? Have you had one before? (I've never had a pet in my life so this is super exciting for me)
