Rainy Day Konadicure

I noticed today that I haven’t been giving my Konad plates much love lately so I picked a design from one of the plates I ordered recently. Then I had to decide what colors to use. What a dilemma. Well, I ended up using OPI’s Yoga-ta Get This Blue! with Konad’s special white polish.

First of all, I’ve got to show you how gorgeous Yoga-ta Get This Blue! is. It’s dark blue and shimmery and one of those perfect formula polishes. This is definitely the star of OPI’s India Collection from Spring 2008.

And here it is with a designe from the M79 Konad plate:

I’m really diggin’ this combination and strangely it suits my mood with all this rain outside. Weird.

  1. Gorgeous! omg! I've been really wanted to purchase from konad are they good? And have you used their polishes? or can you use whatever polish you want and it comes out just as good? because i purchased a cheap stamper set from walgreens and i don't like it. I'm not sure if I want to spend the money again.

    1. Hi Megan! I love my Konad stuff. I really do think they have the best products and they are worth the extra money. I know there are a lot of imitation sets out there but I hear they are not as good. I buy all of my Konad stuff on Amazon.com for really great prices. I think that if you want really nice and crisp designs, it is important to get the special polishes. The white and black Konad Special Polishes are worth the investment. Some regular nail polishes work for stamping but not all so it can be trial and error. I have found that regular silvery metallic polishes work well for stamping as well so I stock up on those cheap 99 cent polishes from wet n wild. What kind of kit did you buy? I've seen the Salon Express kit a lot lately. Thanks for stopping by and commenting! 🙂

      1. That's the one I purchased Salon Express. I've tried it a bunch of times and have only gotten a good stamp 3 times at best. so sad. I haven't looked on amazon being that I'm a eBay girl. lmao

But I guess I'll purchase one plate and one polish because I know my self and I go crazy. Already in my eBay shopping cart I have 60 dollars worth of konad stuff for like 3 weeks but I was unsure.

        1. Definitely check out amazon so you can compare prices if that's important to you. Most of my konad stuff is like 50% off full retail price so my plates are usuall $2.50 – $3.00 and the special polishes are about $3.00. The only special polishes that I think are worth it are the black and white….all the other ones are just "extra" and not all of them show up that well.

  2. I this these nails look really cute but for some reason it reminds me of Christmas. Am I weird?? Or maybe just the blue and white remind me of winter and since all we get here in winter is rain, the only good thing about winter is Christmas so… Anyway, super cute nails!
