Have you heard about the Orly Electronica Collection for Fall 2012? Yeah, me neither.
Today I found a display for this collection and couldn’t decided if I wanted them or not so I bought only one of the colors: Preamp which is the pink shade.
The polish was little sheer but it was buildable even though it got a little goopy. It’s a blue-toned pink/purple with iridescent shimmer. Ahhhh….so pretty. I am really liking all of the iridescent polishes that are coming out lately so I was all over this particular shade. I think I might get Shockwave (blue) and Decoded (gray) because they are matte. The other color, Synchro, is a duochrome redish-pink but it just looks frosty to me. BARF!
Yes, you can laugh at me about my failed attempt to not buy more nail polish. Since I bought one, I might as well buy more, right? A lot more.
I have no hope when it comes to stopping the nail polish addiction. Have you spotted this new Orly collection? Have you picked up any of the On Safari polishes yet? I have all of them now except for the two glitters.

Have not heard of the Orly collection. I like that pink on you and I like it way more on than in the bottle. The red or whatever does look barf-ola and I'm not into mattes, so I think I may be out of the danger zone there (HIIIIGHWAY TO THE DANGER ZONE!)
But as for Safari…oh, man…I seriously want them all. No bueno!
LOL! I'm going to try to swatch the rest of the Safari polishes tomorrow. The ones I got today are the ones that didn't instantly jump out at me so I hope I like them just as much.
Orly collections always creep up on me but this one wasn't super exciting…I just get excited by looking at new polishes!
I don't even think a thing of you saying you're not gonna buy any and then coming home with like 47 new bottles. It doesn't even phase me 😉 I have not seen this new collection but it looks pretty snoozey. The pink is nice for a pink. I am very jealous of your safari polishes tho. I wanted them sooo bad and I'm sure my Sally's has them now but now we're too broke for me to get any. 🙁 I really want desert sun and I herd that. :'(
If I didn't get all these polishes dirt cheap, I'd never be able to purchase even a third of what I get. And when have I purchased 47 bottles at once!?!?! lol…meanie.
Ok that was a SLIGHT exaggeration. SLIIIIGHT!! 🙂 If you hate that sand color, you know who'll take it off your hands! ;p I wish I could find them super cheap- luckily they're only like $5 regularly and then like $4.50 with my sally's card but I want them for like 3 like you seem to get! No fair!
Yeah…and I was complaining because I used to get them for for $2.25 before!!!! I had no idea…
How many nail polishes do you own? Just curious… Btw this color is really pretty.

I like the 3rd color in the collection. It looks like it may be a duochrome or something. As for not buying polish, why not put yourself on a monthly restriction? Let's say only 10 bottles per month. That seems doable versus completely stopping which you know you won't do. 🙂
I think that might work! That way I have to really choose carefully and only buy the colors I REALLY want. But it's hard because I really, really want everything. lol I need to stop being a nail polish hoarder.
I haven't seen those new Orly polishes yet, but the redish duochrome looks interesting. It's always hard to tell in these promo pics until you see them in real life. I haven't been in Sally's for a couple weeks now…I'm being good…sorta, if you count out online shopping 😛
