Can you believe it’s May already? The weather is slowly starting to warm up, but it’s been weird around here when it’s hot one day and raining the next. On Monday I had some time to go watch Avengers Endgame, and I am definitely not happy with how everything turned out. I know that you’ve probably already seen tons of spoilers, but that is all I’m going to say about that. Since we are entering the first week of May, you know what that means: PPU is here again! Today I’m going to show you a gorgeous topper: Lemming Lacquer The Magic of Colored Lights which I used over a few different colored bases. Let’s take a look at my swatches below.
I applied the topper over a black creme and at first kept the glossy finish. Then I decided to add a matte top coat:
Don’t you think it looks amazing with a matte top coat? I find that the flakes really pop when it’s matte. I then decided to show you what it looks like over a few different colors.

I love using toppers because they are so versatile and you can create so many different looks depending on the base color that you use as well as the finish (glossy vs. matte). This beautiful topper has aurora shimmer and has tons of iridescent flakes in a clear base. The theme/inspiration is chosen a month in advance and makers will give previews of their creations in the Polish Pickup Pack Facebook group, so don’t forget to join. The shop is open every first Friday-Monday of the month and then the site is closed while orders are filled/shipped. Be aware that shipping can take about 3 weeks so be patient.

Toppers are so great to have in your collection. I must say I really loovee how it looks matted. I haven’t gotten a chance to watch Endgame yet but I hope I get to see it soon!
