This weekend I watched my nephews and they were sick so of course, now I’m sick. Ever since Vincent started school, I feel like he is always sick. Then Jonas gets sick…and then we all get sick. I have a pretty nasty cough going and my head is throbbing, so I’ll just have to rely on Theraflu to get through the next few days. I can’t believe that this is the last week of February because I have some work deadlines coming up for month end. The good thing about month end is that we have yet another Polish Pick Up coming up. Today I have KBShimmer The Kid to share with you so let’s take a look at my swatches below.
Did I kind of overdo it with the pictures? Well, I’m NOT sorry because this polish is freaking gorgeous. This fun tri-thermal polish changes from a pink fuchsia, to a grape purple to a deep eggplant. It also has beautiful microflakes that shift from purple to copper and gold. If you’re wondering what the inspiration is, it is the incomparable Prince and the Purple Rain cover. I think that these colors perfectly represent the inspiration! The formula was good and only needed two coats for full opacity. This polish will be available 3/1/2019 through 3/4/2019 with no cap. The polish will retail for $10 each.
If you’ve never heard about Polish Pickup, let me give you some information:
Polish Pickup is a monthly shop that allows you to purchase from a variety of makers for a flat $3 shipping rate. The theme/inspiration is chosen a month in advance and makers will give previews of their creations in the Polish Pickup Pack Facebook group, so don’t forget to join. The shop is open every first Friday-Monday of the month and then the site is closed while orders are filled/shipped. Be aware that shipping can take about 3 weeks so be patient.
