Wow, is it really September already? Later this month I will be turning the big 4-0. To tell you the truth, it doesn’t feel like such a momentous occasion since I’ve always felt like an old soul. I’m not expecting any big changes just because I’ll be turning 40, but I do feel like I’ll have to step up my skincare regimen! For today’s post, I have two awesome products to share with you. First up, we have KBShimmer Something Wicca This Way Comes which is a fun and complex magnetic polish. Let’s take a look at my swatches below.
Isn’t this a great polish? It’s so complex and full of different colors. Depending on the type of magnet that you use, you will get all sorts of different designs and colors showing through. The formula was nice and only required 2 coats for full opacity.
It is not an understatement to say that I am picky when it comes to scents. I am extremely sensitive to scents and get headaches very easily so it’s always amazing to find scents that I can not only tolerate, but also truly enjoy. This Lime Margarita scent is LIFE! I love it so much. It’s so juicy and citrus-y and has such a great moisturizing formula. Sugar scrubs are one of my holy grail hand care products and KBShimmer has awesome scents. If you’ve never heard about Polish Pickup, let me give you some information:
Polish Pickup is a monthly shop that allows you to purchase from a variety of makers for a flat $3 shipping rate. The theme/inspiration is chosen a month in advance and makers will give previews of their creations in the Polish Pickup Pack Facebook group, so don’t forget to join. The shop is open every first Friday-Monday of the month and then the site is closed while orders are filled/shipped. Be aware that shipping can take about 3 weeks so be patient.
