Heeeeeeeeeeeyyy! These last two weeks have been a little busy for me as I get ready for some major life changes. It’s been stressful because no one likes major changes, but I am hoping that everything will turn out for the best. I also have tons of new polish stuff to share with you guys in the next few days so I’m excited about that. If you guy recall, a year ago KBShimmer launched a new look to celebrate their 10 year anniversary and wowed us with their magnetic Launch Party Collection. To commemorate the 1 year anniversary of their new look, I am going to share with you the KBShimmer Launch Party Trio for 2019. Let’s take a look at my swatches below.

Let me get some quick details out of the way: these are magnetic/holo top coats that you can apply over a colored base or you can build them up on their own. They are pretty densely packed so they are opaque enough to be worn on their own if that is your preference. You will need to apply 2-3 coats if you want to wear them on their own. For my swatches, I applied 2 thin coats over a dark charcoal grey base. I was planning to use a black polish as my base but I could not find my black polish if you can believe it! I am in the midst of re-organizing my melmers so everything is a mess right now. In conjunction with these three beautiful magnetic top coats, KBShimmer is also offering a new Neodymium Ring Magnet.
I have never used a ring magnet before, but I found it extremely easy to use. It’s really strong so I found that it was easy to create a beautiful design with it. If you want to achieve a curved, negative space on the nail, you can hold the ring flat against nail about 1/4 inch away. For a subtle linear look, you can hold your nail inside the ring.

They look pretty gooooood! Once i remagnetized my nails holding the magnet when I intentionally wanted to magnetize the other freshly polished Hand. And then they were all black XD
So magnet polishes are tricky for me. ^^
