I don’t know about you, but I feel like I had a really nice weekend. I didn’t do much, but I spent some time with friends and just relaxed. Work has been pretty busy but not in a bad way, so time is just flying by. I look forward to my weekends just so that I can chill out watching stuff on Netflix/Hulu. Speaking of Netflix, have you seen the movie Extinction? I won’t ruin the plot, but I really liked it! I am also looking forward to catching up on OITNB. So much stuff to see, so little time! Anyway, today I am going to show you KBShimmer Hard To Empress which is a beautiful polish that I purchased recently. Let’s check out some swatches below.

Ever since KBShimmer put out their Unicorn Pee Collection, I was thirsty for other UP creations from them. I was super excited to hear that Christy had created a new beauty using the coveted shimmer. Hard To Empress is a gorgeous royal purple jelly full of iridescent flakes and UP pigment. It has such a unique and beautiful shift that I find it hard to find anything remotely similar in my stash. Because it is a jelly polish, you will have to apply multiple coats if you want to approach full opacity. For my swatches, I applied 2 thin coats and a thicker third coat.
