Are you guys ready for February Polish Pickup? Well, for the month of February, the theme is Duos & Pairs so I’m definitely looking forward to all the awesome polishes. Christy and Leah Ann chose the unlikey pair of Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart to base their polish duo on so I can’t wait to show you their creations. For today’s post, I have KBShimmer Fo Shizzle to share with you so let’s take a look at my swatches below.
KBShimmer Fo Shizzle is a rich holographic green with a scattering of green flakes which perfectly represents Snoop Dogg’s love for weed. For those of you who like to partake, I’m sure you’ll find it interesting that this polish is scented with a faux cannabis fragrance mixed with patchouli and clove notes. I’ll be honest: I hate the smell of weed so the scent element did not appeal to me. It is not overwhelmingly strong and the scent seemed to dissipate after a while. The good news is that the polish will also be available in an unscented version. The formula is pretty nice–a tad on the thick side, but it was perfectly manageable. It self-levels nicely and is opaque at two coats. All in all, it’s another winner on the KBShimmer lineup. KBShimmer Fo Shizzle will be available February 1, 2019 – February 4, 2019 and will retail for $10.

Polish Pickup is a monthly shop that allows you to purchase from a variety of makers for a flat $3 shipping rate. The theme/inspiration is chosen a month in advance and makers will give previews of their creations in the Polish Pickup Pack Facebook group, so don’t forget to join. The shop is open every first Friday-Monday of the month and then the site is closed while orders are filled/shipped. Be aware that shipping can take about 3 weeks so be patient.
