China Glaze The Arrangement Collection

Hello and happy lazy Monday! Well, it’s lazy for me because I have a 4 day weekend, and I am enjoying it to the max by being lazy. I had planned so much stuff like Kondo-ing my nail polish stash, but that didn’t happen. I started watching a new series on Netflix and that made me lose a big chunk of my weekend. On Saturday I swatched about 25 polishes so now I have the task of editing the pictures which is my least favorite part about running this blog. Part of the polishes I swatched were the 12 that make up the China Glaze The Arrangement Collection, so let me get down to it.

China Glaze Better Than Nectar

I feel like it’s been a while since I swatched a full China Glaze Collection that I thoroughly enjoyed. There are a few shades that I didn’t like 100%, but the formula on them is really nice so I didn’t have much to complain about. I also got to experience the new China Glaze brush which I was really curious about! It’s definitely shorter and wider and felt really nice on my nails. After so many years of using China Glaze’s long and skinny brush, I was used to it, but I very much liked the wider brush since I have wide nail beds. There are so many beautiful Spring inspired shades to choose from with a few deeper shades thrown in the mix. The formula on all of these was nice and I didn’t find that any were particularly problematic. The two jelly shades, There She Rose Again and Saved By The Bluebell did require 3 coats, but all the others were ok with 2 coats. There are two toppers: Wildflower Hour and Better Than Nectar. You can’t really wear Wildflower Hour on it’s own, but you can build up Better Than Nectar if you want to wear it on it’s own. Personally, I absolutely loved There She Rose Again, Senora Flora and This is Ranunculus. Many of these shades have a very delicate shimmer that does not show up on my pictures. Overall, I think this is a very nice collection and I like the majority of the shades. In keeping with my mindset of not hoarding things, I will be putting these shades up on my blog sale. The more I decided to let go, the easier it gets!

Let me know what you think about this collection. Have you picked up any of these shades? Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I will talk to you soon.

  1. I could pass on Better Than Nectar and I Still Beleaf and those pinks are just ordinary pinks, but the rest of the collection looks interesting, Those blues and that lavender and that sage green… oh yes. That orange is pretty for summer with it’s bright neon look. It’s really worth buying the whole set at a discount and giving those boring ones away because to buy just 4 at full price plus tax would be around $35-36 when the whole set of 12 is $38.40 on polishpick. I wasn’t sure I even wanted these, but now seeing them on you and how pretty they are… I might just have to get the deal. These would carry you right over in to summer and even fall with those metallics. Overall it’s a good solid set of colors and for a newbie just getting started in polish it’s a decent mix that will cover most seasons year ’round.

    1. I 100% agree with you. I really do like the pinks and the blues/greens/lavender. I feel like I have destashed so much over the years that sometimes I really don’t have a dupe even when I think I do. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed most of this collection and do think that it’s a great one for newbs who are just starting out.

  2. Some nice colors, but none are super unique for me ?
Have you watched Jane the Virgin on Netflix?! It is still one of my all-time favorite shows for the last few years.

  3. Ranunculus, blossom, and bluebell are my picks! I hadn’t even heard of this collection yet! You always have them first!

  4. I’m still yet to try a China Glaze polish! So for me these are all so gorgeous. Yes cropping and watermarking photos is the one thing I hate!

    1. Since I am such an editing dunce, I don’t really do much except rotate and crop…and maybe once in a while edit out a fuzzy. Even that is super annoying and time consuming. Even though I agree that a lot of these aren’t super unique, I really found myself liking them!
