KBShimmer Wanderlust Collection

KBShimmer Wanderlust Collection

I basically spent my early 20’s traveling all around the world, and I am grateful that I had these opportunities every second of my life. I started traveling during my year abroad and basically did not stop until my mid 20’s. This was possible because after I got back home from France, I took a job with Air France and then with Delta. It was such an awesome time in my life, and I always look back on my experiences as opportunities that helped shape the person I am today. Today I have a travel inspired collection to share with you so naturally I am excited. The KBShimmer Wanderlust Collection is a beautiful 8 piece collection that I am sure you will enjoy. Let me show you some swatches below. Continue reading “KBShimmer Wanderlust Collection”

Illyrian Mixed Emotions

Illyrian Mixed Emotions

Happy first Monday of June! Blah! So just when I thought that things were gonna get better this month, we start June with a broken appliance. Is it sad that I wasn’t even surprised when my fridge broke? The only good thing is that it broke now and not in the middle of Summer. I still had to throw out all of our food because it went bad hella fast. My new fridge arrives in a few days so I’m looking forward to that. Today I have one of my gorgeous purchases from May PPU to share with you. Illyrian Mixed Emotions is such a beauty! I know you’re going to enjoy it as much as me. Pahlish Mother Of Invention

Pahlish Mother Of Invention

You don’t know how excited I was when PPU announced that the inspiration for May 2018 would be the 90’s. I consider myself a 90’s child/teen so I was super excited to see what the makers would come up with. One of the first polishes that I knew would be mine is Pahlish Mother Of Invention because of those beautiful warm brown/burgundy tones. Let me show you some swatches below. Colors by Llarowe Hang Ten

Colors by Llarowe Hang Ten

Lately I’ve seen quite a few people comment that they are tired of seeing Unicorn Pee polishes and others have questioned how limited the stock is if makers continue to put out polishes with this rare pigment. In all honesty, I don’t really care where the UP is coming from, I will continue to purchase them because I love the effect of the original unicorn pee pigment. I have heard that there are makers who still have stockpiles of the pigment from before it was discontinued, so I hope to see more beautiful creations. Today I have a polish for you that contains some of this beautiful pigment: Colors by Llarowe Hang Ten . Let me show you some swatches below. Continue reading “Colors by Llarowe Hang Ten”

Vapid Anything 4 Selenas

Vapid Anything 4 Selenas

Hey there, thanks for stopping by today! I didn’t get a chance to do much nail stuff over the weekend except for some basic swatches, so that’s what I will have for the coming week. I had all these ideas about nail art and stamping, but I just felt like I had no energy to do anything. This week I’ll be getting out of the house and going into the office for work because I’m having some work done at my apartment–hopefully the change of pace will be good for me. This weekend, my Polish Pick Up order came in early so I was super excited. The first polish I pulled out to play with is Vapid Anything 4 Selenas. Read on for some swatches! Sally Hansen Crayola Spring Fling Collection

Sally Hansen Crayola Spring Fling Collection

I don’t know about you, but I remember that as a kid, one of my greatest joys was opening up a brand new box of crayons. Crayola was always my brand of choice, and I would beg my mom to get me the biggest box they had. As silly as it may sound, I would refrain from even using my crayons because I did not want them to lose their point. Seems like not much has changed since currently I don’t use some polishes because I don’t want to “run out.” I am always excited to see new shades of Sally Hansen Crayola polishes and today I have three of them to share with you. Let’s take a look at my swatches of select shades from the Sally Hansen Crayola Spring Fling Collection below. Continue reading “Sally Hansen Crayola Spring Fling Collection”

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel V-Amplified

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel V-Amplified

How you doin’? Yes, I said that in my best Joey Tribbiani voice sans the pervert tone. I’m not up to much, just working and living, living and working. I am gearing up to starting my gym stuff. I know that I’ve been saying this forever but now that it’s been a couple of weeks since my mom’s surgery, she is doing a bit better and now I don’t have to be worrying about her needs 24/7. This weekend I’m going to purchase a few sets of workout clothes, and I’ll see if I need more once I get going. Today I have a beautiful and vampy shade to share with you. I have always been a fan of dark and saturated colors so it’s no wonder I like this one. Le me show you some swatches of Sally Hansen Miracle Gel V-Amplified. Beauty Big Bang Stamping Essentials

I’ve been so into the nail stamping life lately, so I’ve acquired a bunch of plates, stampers and stamping polish in the last few months. I’ve been super excited with the development that I can now use a variety of different stampers and not just the original Konad stamper that I’ve had since 2011. Today I have some Beauty Big Bang Stamping Essentials to share with you that include a stamping plate, black stamping polish and a clear jelly stamper. Let me show you the items below on how well they performed. Continue reading “Beauty Big Bang Stamping Essentials”

Incoco Coconut Nail Art

Incoco Coconut Nail Art

Hey there! How’s it going today and thanks so much for stopping by my little corner of the nail interwebs. I feel like I’ve gotten so lazy lately; not just with my blog but with life in general. What can do you do to get yourself motivated? I feel that working from home makes it very easy to not want to do stuff because I basically move from my bed to my desk to the couch and finally back to bed. Now, if I were a smart person, I would use the time I save from not having to commute to go to the gym or something active. Since the weather has been nice here, with the exception of some windy days that make my allergies act up, I have no excuses to not get out. And since I’m speaking about being lazy what better way is there to talk to you about Incoco Coconut Nail Art . Badam tssss! Ok, ok, I don’t really consider this lazy nail art, but it is convenient and fast. Let me show you a few patterns below. Continue reading “Incoco Coconut Nail Art”
