Hola, hola! I hope your Wednesday is going well. I’m pretty darn exhausted due to multiple things going on in my life, but any day I wake up is already a win. Now that we are pretty much halfway through the week and I am almost finished posting all the pretties coming up for release at The Indie Shop, I’m sharing a fun trio from Bee’s Knees. Last week I shared the Bee’s Knees Lacquer Deadpool Collection with you and today I have another great release from them. The Bee’s Knees Lacquer May 2018 COTM Birthday Trio is such a fun way to celebrate the birthdays of the people intimately involved with the brand. Let me show you some swatches and details below.

I think that the concept for this trio is very fun: an inspiration picture was picked by each person in their Facebook group and a polish was created in response. The three people I’m talking bout are Sarah, Tim and Faith who are obviously the Bee’s Knees team! I had a really hard time picking a favorite polish, but I think I narrowed it down to I Don’t Give A Fawkes which is a huge surprise to me. Let me explain: I don’t really like orange polish and I don’t like VNL. Because I Don’t Give A Fawkes is a jelly polish, you can still see some VNL despite me using 3 coats for my swatches. This polish is just so enchanting…it glows with such intensity that I just couldn’t get over how gorgeous it is. Of course I liked the other two polishes because not only are they beautiful, but they apply flawlessly only requiring two coats for full opacity. The Bee’s Knees Lacquer May 2018 COTM Birthday Trio is available now on Color4Nails where each polish retails for $13.
